Formula

Annual dividend per share is the entered dividend multiplied by payment frequency. Yield is annual dividend per share divided by share price.

Useful checks

  • Estimate annual and monthly dividend income.
  • Apply a 0% input, the Korean general 15.4% withholding estimate, or a custom flat rate.
  • Toggle reinvestment to see a simple user-entered projection.

Assumptions

  • No live prices, ticker lookup, or market data are used.
  • All amounts use the selected currency for formatting only; no exchange-rate conversion is performed.
  • Projection uses annual end-of-year reinvestment at a constant share price and allows fractional shares.
  • Projection assumptions are user-entered and not predictions; fees, inflation, exchange rates, and price changes are excluded.
  • Amounts, shares, rates, and each named output use 4-decimal half-up rounding.
  • The Korea preset estimates general resident domestic-dividend withholding: 14% national withholding plus local income tax equal to 10% of that withholding.
  • It is not final annual tax. Aggregate financial-income taxation, the high-dividend election, residency and treaty rules, account exemptions, foreign-tax credits, security-specific rates, and payment-level rounding can change the result.
